What is happening in major supply basins such as the Gulf of Mexico and Western Canada?

How much new gas production can current drilling activity support?

How much gas production is coming from recent field discoveries versus older fields?

What is current coalbed methane activity?

Which emerging conventional and frontier plays will have a major impact in the near future?

How much gas is being found in deepwater fields and when will production come on line?

What are the implications of the accelerating decline rate for recent completions?

How do finding & development costs differ among regions?

...North American Gas Production Activity Gas Well Production
Provides recent historical data and 24-month projections of drilling and completion activity and gas production in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The data are by basin, district or sub-basin with production reported as "dry net sales" and on a "raw wet" basis.

The report incorporates the most recently available data each month. EEA applies an estimation procedure to "fill in" the data gaps caused by the reporting lag for gas production from government agencies and to correct for various inconsistencies in reported monthly gas production statistics. The service consists of a monthly written report and a database that allows the user
to manipulate the data.

ServiceDetails for Major Supply Region
A monthly "update" for all North American basins of drilling and completion activity, new completions, producing completions and production for prior 24 months. A two-year projection of the same activity and production data is included to provide a seamless 48-month view. Data will be in written and database forms.

A monthly "focus" with statistics and commentary on recent discovery and production trends in a specific region. Data include:

  • New completions and production by major formations
  • Trends in recovery per completion
  • Trends in decline rates
  • Production by completion vintage
  • Activity in major fields and plays
  • Recent discoveries
  • Finding and developing costs
