    General Permit to Construct and/or Operate a New or Existing Phase I Distributed Generation Engine. Small-scale electric generators: DG A Memorandum issued by the state DEP extends the General Permit Program for another year due to the inability to complete the regulatory process in time for the 2004 ozone season. Section 42 would apply to the owners and operators of distributed generators as of January 1, 2005. After Section 42 is effective, we will revoke the general permit, and distributed generators will be regulated under Section 42 and/or other applicable regulations.     World of DG in Delaware
    The Delaware DNREC has finalized its draft regulation for small reciprocating engine generators. Combustion turbines have been removed from the rule and will be addressed in a separate rulemaking. Public workshops on the engine draft will be held May 3-5. The Department will then proceed to finalize the rule.
