AIR EMISSIONS REGULATIONS:
DE MINIMIS EXEMPTIONS (Must meet 1298) See the following permitting conditions below.The permitting process begins with a submission of a form called an "Authority to Construct." This document would contain a description of the proposed unit, its emissions and any controls that would be used. District officials will then approve the application or make recommendations on a case-by-case basis. Lassen County follows the state of California’s permitting requirements (please see the CA state page for more information on specific regulations that would apply). TREATMENT OF EMERGENCY ENGINES Emergency units will likely be given an hourly limit, but there are no official regulations established.
