DE MINIMIS EXEMPTIONS (Must meet 1298)

There are not permitting exemptions. Sources may be exempted at the discretion of the air permitting authority.

MINOR SOURCE PERMITTING

The district has a 0.2% or 2000 ppm fuel sulfur limit, a 20% opacity limit and PM is limited to 0.1 grains per cubic foot.

The permitting process can take up to 180 days, but it is likely to be completed in a much shorter time period.

TREATMENT OF EMERGENCY ENGINES

Emergency units are permitted normally, but are likely to be exempted if they agree to limit maintenance hours to 50 hours per year.
