AIR EMISSIONS REGULATIONS:
DE MINIMIS EXEMPTIONS (Must meet 1298) To be exempted from permitting an engine must be less than 50 hp, turbines must be smaller than 3 MMBtu/hr and any source emitting less than 2 lb per day of each criteria pollutant.Sources with a potential to emit more than the following rates must apply BACT:
Emergency engines are permitted for 200 hours of operation per year. Up to 50 of those hours can be used for maintenance and testing. Emergency engines are limited to operation during emergencies. |
